| La Zenia is
very popular with Irish visitors and the famous ‘Paddy’s
Point’ pub is reputed to have been
the first Irish pub in the region.
The superb Saturday market at Playa Flamenca
is just a short walk from La Zenia and is located behind the
Mercadona supermarket (just follow the crowds!), it is held
from 8am - 2pm and is a great place to find a bargain, or
just stock up on some locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. |
There are
two airports in close proximity to the Mar Menor Resort. Murcia
Airport is a 15 minute drive from the resort and
Alicante 45 minutes.
